Default Anybody hav Volk Forged Mag Mesh wheels?

Just wondering.

I'm not sure they beat TE-37's for the title of my favorite wheel, but they run close.

I'm not sure how they'd look on a car though.

Hmmm, just realized that there were a few posts about these in the past.

Aparently very $$$$$. Still look very nice to me.

Time to save my lunch money.

I always liked that Volk model... not my favorite though. The TE37 is still on top IMO.

Also.. a little more difficult to keep clean given the number of spokes and particularly -- the rivets.

Yea, definitely would be a pita to keep clean, but then again, so are a bunch of the other Volks.

I posted a similar question about any of their mags and got no response from anyone - I guess too expensive for the gain.
Anybody/vendors got price/avail on any of the mags?

They are certainly awesome wheels. If I had unlimited funds my car would be riding on the forged mag 5 spoke. Those wheels are great!

If people can spend 1200 a wheel on HREs I dont know why they wont buy these.

I hear speculation that they are not half as strong as forged alloy. True or False??

Hmm, I hadn't heard that.

As for the cost, I figure they can't be more than the average set of HRE's.

Not to say that that's cheap.

If you like split 5 spoke look, check out RAcing Hart's new J5 Pros. Looks like the Do-Luck wheels. Volk also just came out with a new wheel called the progressive spoke. Again, a 5 split spoke design. I was into split 5 spoke wheels at one point in time. The newest issue of Sports Compact Car has a white skyline with the RAcing Hart J5 Pros on it. Or look at it here www.dazzmotorports.com Go to www.forperformance.com for pics of the Volk Progressive spoke wheel.

OH yeah, and they're much cheaper than the Forged mag spoke

The racing harts are about $2000 for a set of 4 19x9" and 19x10.5 I believe. And the Volk Progressive spoke is half the price of the forged mag spoke per wheel ~$750.

I like the Progressive spoke wheels a lot also.

Just got an estimate on the Forged Mag Mesh....$1600 a wheel.

Ouch!
