Default Need feedback on 245/40/18 front & 275/40/18 rear

I'm strongly leaning towards getting the BBS RS-GT Diamond Black wheels, 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear. I'm thinking about Sport Pilot A/S 245/40/18 front and 275/40/18 in the rear. Please give me your feedback if your running these tire sizes. Thanks!

I will let you know after I put mine on. Noticed tires were feathering plus I get that low-speed roar from the front end--going to dealer for alignment, etc. before installing new tires/wheels.

My new stuff (from Discount Tire Direct)--ENKEI RPF1 wheels 18x8.5 front/18x9.5 rear:::FALKEN GR BETA tires 245/40-18 -- 275/40-18

I'm installing those very same tires this week. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S (All-Seasons) 245/40 18 front and 275/40 18 rear on the Nismo wheels. Expensive Tires - $250/tire front and $320/tire rear. But from my research they should be great for dry pavement and when the roads get wet and slick.

The "perfectly" spec'd tire setup for 8.5"(front) & 9.5"(rear) is:

*245/40/18's on the front

*275/40/18's on the rear

I'm running 245/40/18 and 275/40/18 on my Nismos. I have Dunlop SP9000s. Great tire/wheel combo. Great Handling tire. Absolutly no issues.

perfect setup in regaurds to diameter.

but I think the 275 looks better fit on the rim, where to me the 245 have a tiny inward slant to the sidewall as if they could be 10mm thicker. not just to have, a wider front would help to reduce understeer, which a 30mm difference front to back only makes worse than the 20mm difference it had stock.

The tires as I listed above are now installed. There is a noticeable increase in traction. The look from the rear is awesome, with those wide tires--kinda like a Porsche 911. In both the front and rear, the tires seem to fill out the remaining space in the wheel wells. Not sure I'd try to fit anything larger.
