I ordered wheels from Discount Tire but opted for some reason not to just order the valve stems at the same time.

In the event that they cant put my TPSs on the new wheels, I will need to use regular valves.

The place though where I will go to mount the tires charges 10 for a rubber stem.

Are all valve stems the same? Could I just go to a tire place and buy 4 of them?

Im so psyched about the new wheels coming tom. but the situation with the TPSs possibly not fitting stinx.

 

yeah you can use them.

 

yes, all valve stems (with very few exceptions) are the same... you'll want to use your TPS though if they fit of course

just curious, did you order from discount tire direct's website, or through one of their local shops?

 

Ahhh rushed home from school but still no wheels.

Strife- I ordered from their site. I dont think there is a Discount Tire Direct anywhere near where I live.

Now, ill keep browsing the forums till the UPS guy comes...AHH
