My Axis Hiros have arrived!
So I wake up this morning (took the day off) to the sound of the doorbell
Walk outside expecting it was a neighbor and see the UPS guy standing there with a stack of boxes
10 minutes, 500 dollars in customs and duties later, my axis hiro (anthracite) are sitting in my living room
Now I'm off to go tire shopping
I'll post pics later tonight

doh these didn't resize well... i'll see if i can find webspace to host these... the wheels look awesome in person! pics don't do them justice...
my only concern is strength as this is my first set of axis rims.. potholes in Toronto can get pretty bad... I've seen LE37s in person too and quality/craftsmanship-wise (visually) are very similar (although no doubt LE's are stronger since they're forged)
but I'm very pleased with the way these look

Actually on the silver wheel, the lip will seem larger.. reason is if you look at the pics, the part where the inner hub connects to the lip/wheel is slanted inwards to give the appearance of a larger lip... taking that into account, the silver wheel will look like it has a lip of 4 inches... it just doesn't look that way on an anthracite

I love those rims, but I think I would have preffered them to gunmetal the center too. I dont like the polished center. Still one of the best looking wheels out, IMO.
