Default Anybody running 255 front & 285 rear?

I'm wanting to run these slightly wider sizes than the normal 245/275 everyone else usually runs. If I do drop my car it will be 1" max. Any feedback on if this would cause problems?

I don't think you'll have any problem. I'm running 255/295 and never have a single problem. I install 245/275, 245/285, 265/295 on my customer cars and never have any problem with them.

That's what I'm running. No problems with +26 offset in front, +29 in rear. 285/30 in rear, 255/35 in front. I just wish I went 295 or 305 in the rear.

265/35 front
295/35 rear

1" drop and camber needs adjustment, but no rubbing. Offset 25 front, 30 rear.

Hmmm thanks for the input guys. I'm just concerned, since I'll be running 20" wheels. I was thinking that extra bit of wheel diameter might cause a problem because most of you are running 18's or 19's w/ those wider tires.

If you keep the overall tire diameter approximately the same, with a lower profile tire, you should be alright.

Yeah, I'm checking out that tire dimensions calculator on the Discount Tire website right now.

I'm using that exact setup in 19's and +22 on all 4 sides. Stock suspension, no rubbing issues. You can check the pictures at:

or the thread:

I WILL go with 295's as soon as my rears need changing...

I think the problem would be finding the tire of your choice in 285/35/19. Other then that there should be no problems. Also, I am going with a 255 in the front next time around as well.
