Question Light, 18" track wheels?

I really was about to get the nismos, but then I heard that equal sized wheels give the best track numbers. I'd really like to know the truth here and most of my other posts get like 115 views and no poster. I just really want to know a good set of light 18's with equal widths...thas all I ask!!

P.S. Cost is no object.

Since you said cost is no object, look at the Volk TE37 MAG wheels. 13 lbs a piece made of forged Magnesium. They are about $1,200-$1,300 each and you can special order the width (they only come in 18").

I would get the buddy club PII forged 2pc. I got my 18x8 from emotiongarage and they're very light.

u mean the front and rear width is the same?
like 18/9.5 front and 18/9.5 rear?
as nismokid mentioned, Volk TE37 MAG should be the lightest 18" in the market.
there are few others thatz in the 7.x kg range.
like volk ce28n, Advan TC2.
(18" as well)

yeah I read that too...I think they used same width BBS wheels (rs-gt's?) with a special offset not available at the time. BBS usually weigh in around 18-20 lbs in an 18" Wouldn't be a bad choice

well, SCC didn't actually use the same size wheels all the way around (they used the same size tires, though) the wheel were 18x9 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear... 275/40/18 all the way around...

my ideal set up is:

18x9 w/ 255/40/18 front
18x10 w/ 275/40/18 rear
