Selecting Srings
im looking at the TEIN S-TECH and the Eibach prokit right now to put on my nissan 350z. Has anyone had any camber problems with these brands? any pros or cons? any comments appreciated. thanks
you will need camber kit to pull your camber back to factory spec if you lowered your car more than 0.8 inches.
Eibach prokit: about 1 inch all around (correct me if I am wrong)
Tein S-Tech: 0.7 front, 0.6 rear
RS*R Down or Ti2000: 0.6 all around

these are all good springs.
I had the eibachs before... they rode great on the highway. They did drop the car a lot.
I was able to get the rear camber with in a couple of degrees of stock settings.
the fronts we like -0.9 for the fronts... the tire wear was not significant for me to fret... I just rotated more often.
I have the Tein S-TEch and RSR Ti2000 in stock PM or email me. for installed prices for you SoCal people.

The drop is noticable but it isnt a large one. If you are wanting something to lower your car alot these definatly arent the springs for you.
But heres another thing to consider. I have had my car aligned by the dealer for free because they didnt know i lowered my car =P. The springs are black and only way to tell there not stock is if u notice the drop or if u see the little RS-R symbol on the spring itself

hotchkis also makes a nice set of linear springs
they are similar in spring rates to the stock one, and linear as well ... none of that floaty feeling of the eibach (I had them for 2k miles and was unimpressed)
drops:
f: .6"
r: .7"
but supposedly they only drop about .4 - .5"
I will let you know when I get mine next week

whats the best fix for improved ride with NO drop
i was considering a little drop for improved performance...but even .4 inches will mean a cracked front bumper in no time
is my only option coilovers?...am i correct in assuming that coilovers replace springs and shocks?...if i get the konis (hearing good things) and keep stock springs will they improve handling or just eliminate bounce?
