Default HELP! My front M-SPORTS won't go on and they are the right offset!

Hello all:

My buddy and I tried to mount my rims last night with no luck. Apparently on the hub there is a gold peice which is hitting on the back side of the rims. I have two pics here to show what I mean. Basically that gold piece is scraping on the bottom part of the second picture. The rears went on fine, but the fronts will not.

Someone please help!!! I have regular brakes, 35+ offset, 8.5" fronts, all the right stuff, but they wont go on!?!?!

What can I do? I am very worried at this point. Please help AsAP.

pics:

THANKS in advance..

Ravi

Just wanted to add, is there a way to take that thing off? So many members have these...why won't they fit on MY car?

I'm sure it's a simple explanation...anyone care to help? Thanks again.

Just remove the bolt. It for factory rims only.

yeah ,you need to remove if you want to put aftermarket rims

it's there to make sure people don't put rear wheels in front... whatever that could do.
