I did notice that the conti needs to be slightly heated up to gain maximum traction.
I didn't really notice any change in the ride except the car feels more planted vs the 245/285 I had before. Then again, I have coilover with pretty stiff spring rates so my car isn't exactly tuned for comfort
overall, feel pretty happy with these tires. I actually run my track wheels on the track instead. Waiting to burn out my RE40 so I can get some RA01.
symbolic350, I might have missed it in earlier threads, is your wheel 19x11? or bigger? to run the 315?

Volk GTC 19's
I just ordered exactly the same Volk GTC's you have below but debating on the tire sizes. I have the stock suspension with no plans of lowering. With your tires below. Do you rub? Did you roll fenders? I noticed that you are lowered. If I went with the same tire sizes without lowering. Would you think mine would rub? Thanks a lot!!!

I'm currently running 285s in back on some aggressive offsets (equivalent to +19 on 10.5in volk). Fenders are cut and car is lowered 1" on some eibach springs. I also have a camber kit in the rear with only -.8deg camber.
Seriously, some folks should consider doing some suspension work before slapping on huge wide tires. What's the use of having a 315 tire on your lowered car if your camber is so bad your only putting half of the tread to the ground?

The best that I have seen was 305s wrapped around 18s for the rear. I know you were asking about 19s, but those are the fattest I've seen. The finders had been rolled, but it wasn't that noticable. I don't have any rubbing problems at all. I am lowered using the Tien S-tech springs. The only thing I had done was I had a shop trim the lip on the inside of the rear fenders a little. Rolling can be bad sometimes they say, so I figured I didn't need all that much room and just went with the trim. They took a little more than half off it off and then resealed them so it wouldn't rust. 90,000 miles later and it's all good.
Let me know if you want new pics with my current tires. I like them a lot and will be buying more (first time buying the same tires twice for me.
