Update: I finally wore out my Yokohamas (11.6"w) in back and decided to go wider (12.2"w) 295/30/19 Conti 2s. They're nice and a better match to the Yoko 245/35/19 in front. Which by the way are holding up quit well

I agree with an earlier post about straightening out the wheel, ie less camber. No point in having only half the tire make contact. My current setup is -1.5 degrees on a 5/8" drop. According to Nissan specs (Nominal is between -1.35/-1.58) for the rear. I'm really glad I went with +29 now, because it's dead flush with the fender and "just clears" the shock absorber.

That's only if you're going in a straight line. The opposite is true when cornering. I would hope I have sufficient neg. camber on a high speed off-camber corner. Trade-offs - my street tires get trashed but my track tires rock along.

Currently running 255/35/19 Conti Sport2 on 9.5 fronts but are stretched, I'll be going with 275/30 soon. On the rear I have 295/30/19 on a 10.5 and will be going with 305 or 315 next. The wheels are light weight Axis Hiro's and I have no rubbing and no drop.(stock)

I have 19x8.5 in the front and 19x10 in back. I was wondering if this tire setup would work

do the fronts have to be the same as rear. meaning do i need 245/35/19 in front and not 245/40/19 or will the 40;s work just fine with my rears?

All you wanna do to keep VDC and TCS happy is keep the tire diameter near the stock diameter sizes.

Stock 18" wheels and tires are about 25.8" front and 26.8 rear. So keep that ratio and you shouldn't have a problem. I just try to keep my fronts 1" smaller or closest to 1" smaller than my rears and I haven't had an issue.

Depends on the offset..19x10 with 305 will work if you have a decent offset maybe +20----+35 depending on how much camber you want.

I have 295/30/19 on a 19x10 with +22 offset lowered 1inch with little camber, it rubbed like hell until I rolled them severely. A 305 wouldn't work on mine unless I put some more camber in.

I forget what the offset is on the back it's +22----+26. Somewhere between there. I'm running the full S-tune suspension so it's not that low. Just really worried abou the tire actually going on the rim ok.

Hey all, can you help me with my tire selection?

I am looking at gettin some 19" ADR M-classics.
19" x 8.5" +20mm front
19" x 9.5" +25mm rear

I was thinking of getting some Toyo Proxes T1R's for them. I was looking at sizes and reading in this thread. My idea is:

265/30/19 Z rated for the front
285/30/19 Z rated for the rears

Are these to wide to be running on the rims? I see a lot of people running 9.5" wide rims up front with that setting, so figure those will work, but are the backs too wide? I dont want the edge to bubble out too much, but would like to have some contact with the road.

I am also looking at getting a set of TEIN lowering springs to bring it down a little. Will there be any issues? Will I need to buy camber adjustment kits?

Thank you and any fast help would be appriciated, looking at buying these next week so they will be at home when I get there on leave.

I have a set of 19" ADR-M SPORT's
8.5 fronts & 9.5 rears with +35 offset all the way around.

The tires I am currently running are:
Dunlop SP9000's 245/35/19 front and 275/35/19 rear.

I would like to go with something bigger especially on the front, the current size looks too small with the tires sunken in the rim. What would be a good setup and not make my vdsc go crazy.? I also have TEIN H-TECH's BTW.

SO your saying you would go with a wider rim? I am getting these rims, so trying to find a tire to go with them, not the other way around. Do you have any pics of what your running to show what your talking about.

Sorry for the confusion. The rims are fine and I am very happy with the way they look however the tire setup I have seems a bit small. The front tires especially, they are not as wide as the rim and look sunken in. Any Suggesstions?

other than the obvious, wider tires, no.

Thats the euro style, wekll was at least a few years agom not sure now. Get small width tires and have them mounted, so the wall strech out.

You simply need to get some wider tires.
