Talking Please Help.Do you have to roll your finders with this offset??

I plan on getting some volk wheels with 19x9.5 frt and 19X10.5 Rear. With the offset being +22 in the rear will it rub or do you have to roll ur fenders or what will be the best offset to prevent this from happening.....also the same goes for the front. so if anyone has any kind of info would be most helpful.. thanks!

Fronts will be ok, but the rears will depend. With stock height, no problem. If lower, maybe, depend on how low you are going and size of tires and brand.

i have plans of lowering my car at the same time. i was thinking about lowering about one inch. going with some tien flex coils or i might get tein springs. just depending, as long as i go an inch or inch and a qaurter. i also plan on going with bridgestone some s03 275/35/19 rear and 245/35/19 ft. doing all of this im just worried about if you have to roll ur fenders. im trying the best possible way to prevent that from happening. you if like dump 6 grand just like that u wanna make sure it's just right, ya know?

so any infomation would be helpful. thanks for your response.

You will have no problems with rubbing in the rear with a 275 tire. That is my current setup.

My is pretty much the same setup as yours, except I lowered less then 1 inch and it still rubbed. So yes, you will need to roll your fenders with the setup you going.

ZxRage won't rub is b/c of the tires his using, his using Toyo T1S, but you are going with Bridgestone SO3. 275 SO3 is wider then 275 T1S. I know because I ordered both and compared them and I decided to go with fatter rubbers to protect my lips.

My is 9.5 +12 in the rear, not 10.5 +22, but almost the same, except 10.5 +22 stick out little more. So yes, you will need to roll your fenders, unless you go with different brand of tire or different size like 285/30. I think if go with Toyo T1S, b/c T1S 275 is not as wide as SO3 275.

10.5 +22 here with S03 285/30 and 0.6" s-tech drop. No rubbing (not even close).

with your current set up, how much of a drop do u have and what kind of tire? i was considering going with a 9.5 +12 in the rear and 8.5 in the front, but with s03's. oh yeah what kind of offset do you in the front. i might consider the toyo..i like them alot, but i just had some bad luck with those tires in the past.. thanks for your response.

I am not sure exactly on the #s, b/c I forgot to measure it before I was on stock suspension. Just to give you an idea, my current setting is 1 finger in the front and 2 fingers in the rear. Before it was less then 1 finger in the rear, but b/c it was rubbing so bad that I needed to raised back up and trimmed my fenders. My front offsets are +29 and I am also running 10mm spacers to make look contrast better with the rear, since the rear stick out a lot more. If you dont mind trim or roll your fenders then I will say go with SO3, but if you dont want to, then T1S will be your choice. If I redo it all over again, I will go with 9.5 and 10.5 setup.

hey thanks for your quick response. pretty much it comes down to rolling your fenders or trimming them. i really want a nice and slightly agressive look with my z. what kind of sepension are u running again? i plan on going with tein coils, but i will take springs in consideration. if i go with springs i was thinking may be the tein s tech, i think that is what it's called, please correct me if im wrong. what are ur thoughts on that? thanks again for your help.

I don't know about the S-Tech, but I got Tein Basic. Tein Basic are great for the money and the perfomance. I am not a track guy, I don't need damping adjustment, so Tein Basic is perfect for me without spent over 1G. I love it since the first day I installed them.

thanks for your info. if they roll your fenders, is there any cutting involved? i guess it really depends on how low you drop your car. on what we discussed you on dropping as low as 1 to 1.5 drop, do you have to roll dem?

BTW nice body kit. is it greddy? was it easy to install? thanks again for your help.

There is not cutting involve when you roll your fenders, but if you trim your fenders then there will be cutting involve. Trim is safer compare to roll, b/c it won't crack the paint. I trimmed my fenders, b/c I don't want to take any chance of cracking my paint.

Yes, that's Greddy full kit you see in the picture. I let my friend do it for me, he got a bodyshop, so I just let him do everything. But he did told me this kit is pretty easy to install, the fitment was great.

BTW do you happen to have any pics of your kit? what i am also looking for is how the kit was installed. my z is pure stock right. well i looked at my z and took a good look at my side skirts. does the body kit go right in or do you have to remove any panels or anything. it's kind of hard to explain, but if you have ever looked at ur car when it was stock, did you ever look at ur side skirts and saw that it had some stock side skirt or is that just part of the vehicle. did i confuse you enough? i really do appreciate your help. thanks again

I think I know what you are talking about. The front it just a lip goes right on your stock bumper. The side, you just take your stock side skirts off and replace with the Greddy side skirts. The rear is a half bumper goes right on the stock rear bumper. I got some pictures in my computer at home, PM me your email, I will email you the pictures tonight.
