Default HREs or iForged rims?

i'm looking at the iForged RS Aero 18x9 (front) and 18x10 (rear) brushed alum rims and also the HRE 545's. anyone have thoughts on pros/cons of one manufacturer versus the other? i've read mixed feedback on iForged cust svc, but the rims look terrific in person. the HREs are very similar (only seen the pics), but i like the aero's cuz there are no rivet holes. thanks for any info.

Spend you money on the HRE's. The iForged look good, but quality is questionable for what they cost. Some have had good experienced with them, but many have not had much luck. Santa may be nice to me this year and step me up to HRE's or Volks.

You can get the iForged wheels with or without rivets...it's your choice. HRE does have better quality and customer service, but they cost more than twice as much.

I've had my iForged Aeros for over a year now and haven't had any problems. At that time you could order direct from iForged, which I did, and it took me exactly two months to get them. This was fine for me as I knew they were being custom made. There have been some customer service problems in the past but I know that Avalon Racing is now their distributor and Paul is very good so I'm sure he'd take care of things. He's also a big HRE distributor.

The HRE's are great wheels also so you can't go wrong here, if you can afford them.

One thing that I do like about my iForged's is that the inside of the wheel is polished as well which gives a much cleaner look. The HRE's I've seen are not polished on the inside. I know this since my friend has polished HRE's and only the face and lip are polished.

Here are picture of his wheels and mine. Good luck with your choice.

Here are my friend's (Jeff) HRE's. Not sure if the picture is too small to see that the inside of the wheel is not polished. I had to reduce the picture image in order to attach it.

Contact Paul at Avalon Racing for current pricing on the HRE's...they do come at a cost. I don't have that invoice in this office but $5k for the 18 inch 845R's is about right. He had/has a set of 845R 19 for sale...$3K, at least he did last week. I really like the iForged as well...nice.
