Default Will TPS sensors fit in a 35 series tires?

Anybody using the stock TPS sensors with aftermarket rims/tires?

My tires are 245/35/19 fronts and 295/35/19 rears? Will the stock sensors work with my tires? Thanks.

I dont think ita a matter of the tire size...more a matter of whether they mount on the rim. There has been allot of discussion about this in the past. I know you can put the sensors on TE-37's but not on rims like my SF Winnings.

I didn't know how the sensors look like and how they are mounted. I taught that they are mounted on the other side of the valve stems/caps (inside).

I have OZ Superleggera III.

The sensor is a small black box right behind the valve stem. If they are mounted on the stock location, a 35, 40 or 45 tire should be ok since they barely protrude over the rim lip.

If they can't be mounted on the mormal location, some people install them in the middle of the rim, holding them in place with a metal band. At this point I would guess clearence might become an issue, specialy if you take a nasty bump...

So that means rims with a big lip will need bands and rims with small lips like TE37s/LE/CE will have no problem? I have gram lights that are similar to TE37 and the stock track rims. Does that mean I will have no problem with mounting the TPS?

for the most part, a 35 series tire won't affect whether or not TPS units fit... it depends on your wheels and the position of the air inlet

Yes it will fit 35 series tires, many people here are running that setup, but more importantly is the wheel design. Does the design allow space to mount the sensor?
