Default Has anyone had their tires replaced by the dealer?

I was just notified by the dealer that I need new front tires because they are wearing fron the inside. I did get a memo in the mail from Nissan about the tire feathering issue.I do not remember where I put the notice. Has anyone had the dealers replace tires due to feathering? Should I ask them to replace them? Thanks for the info

Yes! Replaced by dealer due to "feathering". If they agree to a replacement and you don't like OEM tires, I believe they will give you that much towards replacement tires of your choice. However, you must return the tires to the dealer inorder for them to get warranty credit.

Wearing on the inside does not mean they will replace them. All 350Zs will wear the inside quicker than the outside. They have to be "feathering" which means every other tread block is warn more than the previous.

I have an appointment for next Monday to have my front tires replaced at Nissan's cost. I have an early 2004 production run Z. I was hoping that they would throw in a set of tires for the back but that was "false" hope! After that I will be on my own I supose concerning this suspension defect. Does anyone know if the late 2004 350Z production run ever corrected this problem???
