Speed Sensor for '04 350Z Roadster....where is it?
Can someone please point me in the direction of where to find out where the "speed sensor" is on my '04 Z. It is a Roadster but I dont know if it is any different for the coupe.
Anyway, I had a Pioneer AVIC Z-120BT installed. All is great except the nav has me off roading whenever I am in the canyons and it cant see the satellite. Apparently, they were not able to find the speed sensor.
Help please......thanks in advance.

I am installing a Pivot speed meter and i also need to know where this pinout is on the ECU. In their diagram it shows a 4 pin plug with the SP (speed sensor ) labeled as the 3rd from the left. I can upload page but unlike the other Nissan models where the diagram acutally looks like a ECU the VQ35DE diagram is just a plug... I have searched everywhere.
Ok so after more searching it can be behind the A/C unit but i think they mean behind the clock, if so this i think this is the pin.
To get to it grip the edges of the surround where it meets the bottom of the lcd and gently tug.
Then unscrew two screws on each side of the surround, you can just see each screw on the outer edge

I will post an actual pic of the plug when i take a photo
Here it is i think
Thanks
Also
So you can see the white box is where the plugs go into, and its white cable but has black on it too..
When comparing to that pic in the link remember you have to visually unplug the cable and have it face you..
