i would like to. i know i could fit it in the rear, but don't want to cut the front fenders. might in time run a larger fenders

Who cares about the front, it has nothing to do with gearing. Put a 315 on the back and let it rip. You should be on a 335 at that power level anyway .

haha this is true just like square setups. but like you said i need more rubber in the rear with the power level

Thank you to Mike and Brian for sharing their knowledge and setup. Based on what I read here and on Brian's thread, this winter I was able to build and setup a really fast STU. Actually very fast out of the box.

I decided to go with double adjustable 8300 Penske custom valved, Cusco RS diff, 1200fr/900rr springs, no swaybar in the rear and stock front swaybar with custom end links.
