i thinkthe cup car would do horrible around a autoX. the tires would never even get warm. it would still be fun tho. the steering is alot dif then a street car also. my turning radius is the same as a 18 wheeler... seriously

I did not realize that the steering was that diffrent for autocross to a road coarse.
It still would be cool to see though. Kevin Kipta (74 or so red 911 who way to fast) would shat him self when he see's it and tell him its running asp. HAHA

Very nice video!!!
Comment and question: I noticed how quickly the downshifts were taking place, and it seemed really smooth, plus there's no indication of locking up the rear end. Is that just awesome driving skills with very quick heel-toe and very light flywheel/clutch combo? Jeez, if I try'd to downshift that quickly, I'd be locking up my rear end or fumbling with my heel-toeing efforts.
Post more vids!!!

well the main thing diferent about the steering is it only goes 3/4ths of a full rotation so 270 degrees and its locked. so at hutcheson island autoX i wouldnt be able to make any of the tight turns. and thats pretty much it. of corse its got alot of toe so the turn in is sharper than normal street cars. and stuff.
dnguyent: its jsut heal/toe action

Leh will there be a camera in the car for the 24?

Yah there will be. But it will only capture about 40 minutes of the start. We dont have time to change the tape in the middle of the race, obvisouly. But there will be alot of incar from practices. Im working on gettimg some of the footage of me doing a night practice from the Paul Reveir 200 race that i did in July at Daytona.
