Fellas, I have a 2007 that came w/ the homelink. I'd like to sell it for $30 which will include free shipping. (cept for HI and Alaska)
I just need to know what to give to the buyer aside from the mirror...
Do they need the pigtail that is behind the mirror and plugs up to the mirror? If so no big deal. But I worry that they need alot more then that and if so I won't go through with selling this.
If anyone can chime in thank you in advance.

Update I purchased the 08 harness and home link from slide good and will do the install in a few weeks. Looks like the harness should plug directly into the r2 plug and I'll have to remove the stock harness and use the new harness to power the vanity mirrors. I'll keep everyone posted when this is installed.

Just give them the pigtail...they should be able to take it from there...As long as they can wire it up...They will be A-OK..

Your going to need the factory service manual - find the color wire for your car and where they are located..Splice in...and you should be golden..but you have to get a FSM for sure..

Default bump for an old thread

im gonna do this on a close future, but for now i wanna know, is there a olug in the pillars that you can unplug, just like the plug for this, that goes to the dome lights? for example if i wanna throw leds inside my car that i want them to dim with the domes, i just prefer to tap the power from the lowest point that i can, not up from the roof????

You can tap into the harness in the A-pillar for footwell lights, but, if you want to be able to switch them on/off manually with the domelight switches, this is the only way:

Pretty simple, really, and well worth the minimal extra effort.

I'm bumping this because I'd rather bring this back from the dead than to create a new thread.

I just bought the home link mirror for my 07' base and comparing the wire to the diagram acidjake provided... my pigtail harness looks to have all the end points R2-R3-R4-R5. I really hope mine is just a simple plug and play base on JasonZ's post.
