Default Found a weird, disconnected wire; requesting help to identify

Hello all!
Today I was going through my fuse box when I found this:

It's connected to these multiple wires.

What the heck is this supposed to connect to, and moreover, what is this connection for? I could find no numbers or letters on it to identify it. All I know is that it extends out the back of the steering wheel mount. Thanks all !

Its not oem, thats for sure.

Trace where the wires terminate...that would help a lot.

It looks like it comes from the shiny metal box labeled "brake".

Can you mb remove that kick panel for a clear view of another similar connector?

If you get a dvd head unit installed, they are required to wire it into the E brake for safety reasons.

yea, but that's actually a weird place to put the bypass, but i can't really think of other reason why there would be a metal box labeled "brake"

Agreed, should run under console carpet to a switch on the brake if that's the case.
