Default All N/A Build up's, number, mods...Post 'em up

N/A Builds, please post up all info needed seen below

I searched and searched to find a thread like this for N/A's, if there is one, I apologize for overlooking it, but I think it would be cool to see what people are putting down with their set-ups as well as their tastes in certains mods...etc. Copy and paste this original format below and add your parts to the right. If they are stock, type stock, if you have mods for any of these, please list brand, specs etc.

Here's what Info we need in every post in this format so it's easier to read through and it stays uniformed. If this is the first thread uniformed like this, could we make this a sticky mods?

City, State which Dyno occured : Dallas, TX...etc.
Approx weather condidtions : Sunny, about 75, very humid...etc.
Baseline Dyno : List your starting number
1/4 mile time/trap speed : If your ran the 1/4 stock, list it
Tires used in the 1/4 : If your ran the 1/4 stock, list it
Size of wheels/tires used during dyno : List your sizes used on baseline
Dyno after your mods : List your finished number
1/4 mile time/trap speed : If your ran the 1/4 modded, list it
Tires used in the 1/4 : If your ran the 1/4 with anything other than stock tires, list 'em
Size of wheels/tires used during dyno : List your sizes at your latest dyno
Type of Dyno : ex. DynoJet, Mustang...etc.
Year : 03-up
Model : List your model Z or G
Motor : Non-Rev or Rev-Up
Engine Oil : Brand and weight
Plugs : Stock or Colder
Transmission : 6spd or AT, (if AT, Valve Body installed and/or higher stall)
Clutch : Stock or List your Aftermarket
Flywheel : Stock or List your Aftermarket
Short Shifter : Stock or B&M...etc.
Final Drive Gear Set : Stock or 3.9, 4.08...etc.
Rear Diff : Stock or Brand LSD, 2.5 way, 2 way...etc.
Engine Ground Kit : Stock or Aftermarket
Engine Internals : List all parts & specs
Heads : Stock, built, ported & polished...etc.
Intake Manifold : Stock or APS, Kinetix...etc.
Lower Intake Manifold : Stock or Motodyne...etc.
Intake Manifold Spacer : Yes or No, if Yes, which one
Throttle Body : Stock or Aftermarket, Port & Polished...etc.
Intake : Stock or JWT...etc.
Headers : Stock or Borla...etc.
Cats : Stock or HFC, Test Pipes...etc.
Exhaust : Stock or Borla...etc.
Fuel System : Stock or Aftermarket
ECU : Stock or Flashed, S-EMS, Piggyback...etc.
Fuel used on Dyno : 91, 93, C16...etc.

If there is something I missed, please let me know. Thanks. This hopefully will keep threads from starting like the one I wrote earlier yesterday....

Thanks and happy posting

Hey guys, I just looked at my dyno vid and I ran a 203whp on the Mustang after my mods!!!!! I shouldn't have started these threads so late. My 3's started blurring together I guess.

Here's my vid to validate it: that's my buddies TRD Widebody Supra, but he only dynoed with BC turned down and pump.

This subforum of the Engine & Drivetrain forum is strictly for naturally aspirated engine builds - all motor. This includes, but not limited to, information regarding individual throttle bodies, pistons, cams, and other relevant parts information for a full N/A build.

Refrain from posting irrelevant and useless information, like ones about exhausts and intake.

Keep this forum clean and stay true to the title of the subfo

I have to agree with 03threefiftyz, davidv, it might keep eveyone from posting threads like "I have these mods and what hp will I be at....w/o any other info" This give's anyone who reads the closet idea "with a baseline of course", "temp", city, state to have the elevation as well as wheel size etc.....this is just about all the info one would need to see how they compare.

How could I forget the fuel used on dyno, but add a ss, that's what happens when you stay up to late.

car was ~3 weeks old when I did the above run, only mod was a UR crank pulley. This was done at Mustang Magic, an old school, long established shop not too far from where we are located. However the engine in my car now is not the same, I picked up a spare engine and built it, which is what my car now has as her heart.

unfortunately, I never did get the scan of my 320 whp run from Jermaine @ TXS lolol - just spent the day bs'ing, hanging out, doing some tuning - he forgot to print it and I forgot to ask for it ! Next time I am down there, I'll be sure to post the results, and if time allows, maybe I'll head to Dave at F/T to toss it on his DD as well

1st-Just so we are all clear here, this is a thread about N/A Engine Builds, nothing less, but certainly more.

2nd-It mentions I, E b/c it makes a difference on the build.

3rd-The thread is clean so far, I don't see any issues, do you?

4th-If there was a subforum that was only about this exact topic and nothing else in this exact format, It would be posted there and not here. Maybe we can have the Mods create a Subforum based on this exact topic. Maybe it's an idea.

Strange, generally a dynojet will read higher than a mustang, but dyno's can be set up any number of different ways.

FYI if you have stock engine internals you do not have a built NA engine (nor is it considered an "NA Engine Build") and therefore davidv is correct and this would be more appropriately suited for the main Engine & Drivetrain Section. Yet I digress..

Eh, I don't put all my eggs into the dyno # basket because there are so many different ways to skin a car. That being said, I know from doing this stuff for half my life that they are always the first things people look at. Having built and owned tons of cars in the past, and driven tons of exotics/rare cars in general, I know what a quick car feels like, and that's the baseline I always go back to When I go to a dyno it's solely to do tuning. I could care less about posting some arbitrary # to make myself feel good. I'm simply looking to start with a # at the beginning of the day, and hopefully end up with a higher # at the end of the day

Is my intake manifold aftermarket? Nope...and thus, it's stock (sorta). Plus it's got the added hmmm by running the world smallest plenum spacer
