Default finally a proud 350z owner

well i finally pulled the trigger on my dream car after saving for little by little for the last 10yrs. i have been looking for the last 6-7 months for the right color, miles, prev. owner etc. picked her up on tuesday 04 le mans sunset track edition with only 17141 miles. 1 owner car never raced all maintance records were handed over to me by the dealer he bought it from. i am in z heaven.

thanks all.

yeah, could not believe it. i was looking at a silver convert with 40k on it and then this guy pops up, bought it the next day. was a very fun 140 mile drive home, even let my 13 yo daughter play hooky for the day from school to enjoy her first ride in a z. she was smiles ear to ear. and no did not take it over 80 with her in the car.

That's a beautiful z, Le Mans Sunset is one of my favorite colors on a z, I would have probably chosen it if I wouldn't have had to wait forever when I bought mine in '04, that or Brickyard.

i was a day away from a brickyard 04 with 75k on it for 10k. car sold and i found this one a day later. my wife really liked the brickyard but the le mans has been my favorite since the first time a saw a z as it was being unloaded off the delivery truck, i was hooked like a crack head when they cranked her over and that nice growl came alive wow what a rush.

dealer was asking 15999 and I ended up paying 14.5 cash out the door. I thought the price was decent considering they had all service records and only 17k for miles and basically a stock car only add on was a alpine stereo that will be getting a nice double din with bt and nav this winter as she is sitting pretty in the garage. the rims are the 19" forged Rays that I always wanted as well. the Michelin pilot sp2's are still at 7/32nds front and 6/32nds in the rear. brakes pads look to be about 15-20% old rotors were clean no rust anywhere even had them have it up on a lift when I got there to check under her skirt. clean as it was from day 1. only real flaws I have been able
to find are a few rock chips in the front bumper that is getting a re spay next spring and clear 3m applied to bumpers hood mirrors and doors. think the car is sexy as hell as she sits so not much body mods for me. was told car has never seen snow salt or rain and it shows. now need to research exhaust notes to see what I like looking for a awesome growl but
not to loud and no ricer rasp or drone. heading out Tomm am for a nice 100-200 mile cruise been driving Titans for the last 8 years so getting a feel for the clutch again don't get me wrong I know how to drive stick well just never in a sports car that I own and drive often. and after reading some other threads I have full coverage insurance as well.
