Yup thats why I stick to aftermarket parts and always try to put the car back to stock when I'm done.
People asked me about trading headlights/tailights on the g35 and I told them no. Its not worth even pulling them off.
And yea finals week sucks, my semester officially ended today. Back to the battery plant tomorrow

But all and all its still fun ripping a car apart and learning how its all put together... That crank pully was no joke, I used a 25inch breaker bar with a 36 inch piece of exhaust pipe to break it loose... The clutch was slipping a little bit im surprised I even got it off...

This bumper has kicked my @ss for the second time now. Worked on it for the better part of today and managed to get the first piece on. Only spot I'm really not happy with is where the Nissan sandwich would typically go.
Other than that I finally managed to capture some of the purple shades this color has in a picture

Dont be fooled by the picture, the area where an emblem would be is pretty rough. But overall, I attacked the bumper much better this time around knowing what happened last time I did it.
And Im 98% sure I bought the bumper that has the most dramatic, extreme curves and angles.

From more than a foot away, you'll never notice. People don't even notice my headlight seams, which weren't even done with knifeless tape. Looks great. When do you get the Z back to start on the large pieces? Rest of the car, minus the rear bumper, is straight forwards for you
