Kinetix SSV dynoed - N/A
Well....thought I would try the kinetix in place of the crawford plenum to see if there were any gains. Well, dynoed last night with all the same mods except a change in plenum. Drove the car for a week to let the ecu settle in.
I thought I would see more torque down low with the increased runner length....and I did. I gained between 12-15 ft.lbs between 2000 and 5000 rpm's. The torque leveled off after 5000 rpm's to match the crawford to redline. In the horsepower area....I gained around 5hp through the whole range until 5000 where it again matched the crawford to redline. A/F ratio was slightly richer by about .2 points. I think on a stock motor the ssv would be a great advantage over a completely stock manifold just because I had gains over the crawford. I am very curious about gains with forced induction. Maybe a few guys can contribute some info on their F/I experiences with this manifold.

Good numbers and thanks for the critique.
The only concern that I had about the Kinetix SSV design was whether it could deliver a sufficient volume of air to the front cylinders. You've laid that concern to rest. Thanks again.

How much hp does the crawford make from 5k rpm to redline? And if i have a 05 Track lower plenum and combine it with the crawford upper one... would I see any gains? I was told combining both of them would actually lose hp cuz its too much air volume for the ecu. Did Jason from performance combine his lower plenum with a crawford upper one?
