[QUOTE]

Specs for these Raijins are: 10 X 8.5 (f) and 18 X 9.5 (r), both 35 offset. Don't forget hub spacers for the 73.1 mm center bore.

Thanks for the reply and specs (and the reminder to get the concentric hubs).

I'm certain you are aware of this, but I'll mention that Enkei makes wheels in the Tuning series that have better offset for the 350z.

Default 2004 Touring

I am looking at these 18x8.5/18x9.5 rims:

http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...d&showRear=yes

With these tires:

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....e+Sport+COMP-2

in 255/40 and 275/35.

Any reason not to? I searched for low-quality rims, and these don't seem to be low quality. I just don't want a rim to break, and kill someone on the interstate.

Would you suggest something different around these sizes, if it were you? I plan to track the car, but this rim/tire combo will be for DD use. I'm not happy with the offset on these rims. Was looking for around +22 in rear, and +20 in front. Or thereabouts. Not interested in running spacers in any way shape or form. I would rather loose out on looks, than run spacers.

Thanks in advance.

Just get 18x9.5 front and rear

Then for tires, the 255/40-18 is perfect up front , but you want a 275/40-18 rear

Thanks for the reply, but the difference in those tires is greater than 3%. I don't want to be even close to TCS problems. 275/35 is much closer to 255/40.

Also, putting such different width tires on same rim? I can't STAND tire stretch. The sidewalls front and rear need to look the same. Not one stretched, and the other not stretched.

Thanks.

So they stopped making the NT03+M in 18x10.5 in +22

There goes that. Back to the drawing board

I'd appreciate it if you'd take my thread back out of the "Unofficial Enkei" thread. You basically pigeonholed me into responses appropriate for that thread, but too specific for my thread.

Don't think they ever made that size before. I know they didn't in 08 when I bought mine and have never seen that size ever posted

You are pretty confused here
225/45-18 is the stock front tire , 255/40-18 is the exact same height tire, just wider.
245/45-18 is the stock rear tire , 275/40-18 is the exact same height tire, just wider.

This combo has no deviation from stock size. 275/35-18 is an inch shorter than stock, and the front tire will be taller than the rear, causing problems.

Last thing, wheel width. Sidewalls actually look the same, just look around and you will see it being run on here.

I was talking about front to rear difference, not stock to modded difference.

Either way, I must have punched in a number wrong before, because the 35 aspect ratio was almost perfect, and 40 was like 4.64% different. I just inputted the numbers again, and the 40 aspect ratio is within parameters.

Thanks for the reply. Not confused, just must have mistyped a number somewhere.

Now the difference in width look on the wheels, neither will be stretched and you won't be able to notice much of a difference in sidewall angle.

It's within parameters as you recently found out, actually it has the same parameters as the OEM setup

Might be missing a better thread to ask, but this is as good as I can find currently. I am picking up Enkei 18x9.5 18x10.5 +15 all around this weekend. Can I use the OEM lugnuts for a few weeks? Also, I'm already ordering the hub adapters so I'll have those before putting the wheels on.

Thanks!

Didn't try, but even with my lug nuts that take a 19mm socket I have to be very careful not to scratch the wheel
