....not on my Z, but IN it. Whenever I turn my car on I hear this faintly audible 'feedback' and I can't place where it's coming from. It can't be the radio because I can still hear the noise when it's off. It seems to be streaming from the dash somewhere but I can't figure out what's making it. I know it's no really big deal but i'd like to stop it if I can only locate it. Anyone else encounter this? Any 'feedback' would be greatly appreciated...

 

The "feedback" noise that I tend to hear is behind me, and from what I'm told, is a noisy fuel pump. A little disconcerting in the beginning, but I've gotten used to it.

 

Sounds like the fuel pump to me. I like hearing it. You should be able to the ON position but not start the car and hear the pump turn on right behind your seat. If it really bothers you you can add some more sound deadening in that compartment.
