Brakes Question?????
Guys I need some comments on this. In the past couple months I've having brakes issues, brougt the car to the dealer twice and they could not hear anything. I took the car to a regular shop and they told me need new front breaks and rotors...I was in a hurry because I don't have any other car, so they did it for me....$400, this was like a month ago, now I brought the car for part replacments (foot rest pedal) and told them to check the noise brake again, they said we want to keep the car for testing in the morning...so I agreed. Just got a call from them they said I need a rear brakes now ...$219. How can the brakes go so fast, my car only has 12,474 miles? Do the warranty apply to this??

Warranty doesn't apply to wear items which includes rotors and brake pads. Have you taken off the wheels and visually inspected the rotors and pads yourself? That would be the first thing I would do before letting someone tell me I need new brakes. What kind of brake noise are you getting?
1. What kind of brake issues did you have? Squealing during stopping. Problems with braking distance, etc etc?
2. Do you have the Brembo or non-Brembo brakes?
3. Did the shop give you your old pads and/or rotors? Seems to me you got scammed.
4. Rear brakes wear out about 1/2 the speed of front pads.. due to the braking power being around 70/30 front/rear.
5. And if you DO need new brakes, do yourself a favor and install them yourself. It's $60 per set of brake pads... and it's a 30 minute install.

Um... are you getting brake SQUEAL when you are slowing down? Is that the problem? Have you ever bed in your brakes? I bet that's the issue:

While it may be possible to burn out pads in 12K miles, I can't imagine needing rotors replaced in this same window unless for some reason they have warped. Like RD said, I think you got scammed.
As for the sound at low speeds, it's very common to get some squeaking in this car under 5MPH. A forum search will reveal many people who have this problem. Is that what you're hearing is squeaking? If so, try some squeal stop on the pads/shims.

How realistic this can be "burn out in 12K", its possible. I did have one front rotor warped, sorry my bad. My concern is the longevity of the brakes pads. A cousin of mine works at Infiniti dealer and he see a lot of this with Infiniti cars and they repleced with out questions ask, specially if you have 12K miles or less.
I have a 03 Touring, got it in Dec 02.

20k miles, and two rather mild track days, and I still have about 1/4 of my front pads left. I'm not hard on the brakes on a day to day basis, since my driving consists of 70% freeway and 30% city, but 12k miles sound absurd.
If you're a very aggressive driver, and wait till the last minute to apply your brakes (you'll know who you are because your passengers always look nervous), then I can see how full time city driving may burn through a set in under 12k miles.
Otherwise, it sounds like your mechanic took advantage of you.

Unfortunatly there isnt much room on the factory OEM Non Brembo Rotors to turn them... So rather then turning them and only replacing pads you need to get new rotors and pads...
Thankfully stop tech has OEM Replacement rotors that can take alot of abuse and be turned and then re used again like new...
