Default Z or R32?

ok i test drove a Z and an R32 today. as far as style, the Z wins outright. the cabin felt awesome, tho the lack of trunkspace is an issue. the R is more ergonomic and has a lot of torque. the clutch on the Z releases super high and was hard to get used to( does anyone know why that is?). the Z also has a better suspension but when i stomped on it i noticed the gearshift vibrated like crazy. is that something wrong with the car or are they all like that? i cant decide which one i like better, any thoughts?

The R32 is a nice car overall, but overpriced imo. It has decent power, but its also pretty heavy. The Z has a better power to weight ratio. The interior on the r32 is also very nice, and its a pretty rare car. The only thing against it is the price.

I could never buy an r32, just because you can buy a new gti for 10G's less and make it faster with like $1000-$1500. They are cool cars tho. And yeah my shifter vibrates too...oh well

As a Highly modded Z owner.. I would buy the R32 {skyline is what we are talking about right.... not the VW} (as long as she's in good condition, well documented)... Very rare car.
And for waht I've put in my Z I could have a nasty R32

yeah but the gti doesnt have awd or 18s or 12" brakes......i have seen used R's for 24Kthat was really wierd about the shifter, i guess cause it is directly connected to the tranny? also how many suitcases can you fit in your trunk?

Z all the way.
Buying an R32 is like the same thing as buying an EvoVIII. Its much easier to just buy a regular Lancer, and with all the money you saved, you can make your regular Lancer FASTER than an EvoVIII.

Get an R32.
If you have to ask, then you belong in an R32.

I'm not trying to be an ***, I'm being as sincere as possible. If I had a practical bone in my body and a comparable car in mind when I was looking for a car, I would have gotten something other than a Z.

But fortunately, nothing came close to it. I couldn't see myself in anything else.

Don't know if that makes sense.

But again, if you gotta ask, please get the R32. It's definitely a cool car if you can see yourself in it.

i had the same dilema when I was looking at cars. I was coming from an audi so the R32 would have been sticking with the VAG cars. I drove my buddy's and it made the decision even worse. The R32 has an amazing interior... 100x's better than the Z. It also handles well and the awd is definitely a plus. What it came down to for me was the styling and the clutch. VAG clutches all suck... they are high and soft. It's just the design, and they are non-adjustable hydraulic clutches. I chose the Z mostly based on the looks... though its being a very fun car to drive definitely helped as well. i say choose the Z, you won't regret it.

r32 is definitely a nice car...the only thing is the price. i think you can get a better bang-for-the-buck with the z. but either way, i think you are gonna end up with a nice car

At first I was thinking Skyline R32.. Heh heh. But still I'd pick the Z hands down.
