I originally wanted silverstone, but upon visiting the dealership, they only had chrome silver for sale. The GM had a silverstone model. We parked them next to each other, and took a poll. Chrome silver seemed to be the choice. I bought the chrome silver the next day.

I want to know what you guys think!

Which silver color do you like better?

That's a tough one. I'm actually the opposite from you. I originally wanted Chrome Silver. I saw Chrome Silver and Silverstone side-by-side. And to tell you the truth, I changed my mind.... I like Silverstone more.

Originally ordered Chrome Silver...saw the Silverstone and considered changing...stayed with my original choice..the first time I saw them side by side and realized how small a difference there was, I was glad I stayed with CS..they are both great colors for this car

I also like the way the my wheels almost match the CS color

It's odd that more people ordered CS, and the poll indicates SS.

Personally, I like SS better, which is what I'll be getting very soon. It's just a tad richer. But CS is just as nice to me.

My big problem was deciding against orange. It was a hard call.

Said it twice before and I'll say it again: I picked Chrome Silver because it's the best color factoring in the door handles. The handles just look out of place on any other color. (Just my opinion, and just like ********, everybody has one...) With CS, the handles fit in. On any other color, they're just a bit too....big?

That's a good point. Yet, I like the handles on any color. The other colors do make them make a bigger production out of them. But that just makes them easier to find when you're being chased in a parking lot by an psyched out axe-murderer and you want to make a quick escape. So I just consider it a safety feature.

The first Z I saw was a SS Track at the dealer. I fell in love with the car instantly and the color was fantastic. When my CS Track arived I took one look and thought, now that is the color, WOW!
They are my 2 fav colors on the Z. I know it sound boring

If I had to choose between the two, I'd probably go with the Chrome Silver. I think it just has a little cleaner look to it. But, of course, I wanted something louder so I ordered the Daytona Blue. (It's a girl thing!)

Well, I have BOTH colors at the same time.

In addition to my Silverstone Track 350Z, I also have a Sheer Silver 2003 Maxima SE. Sheer silver and Chrome silver have the same paint code (KY0).

Honestly, the Chrome silver is a bit flat and lifeless for a sports car. I kind of like the vibrant Platinum silver on my 2002 WRX.

Can you tell that I like silver?

Dean

Completely agree here. On any other color, the brushed aluminum handles CONTRAST too sharply with the base body color.

I am a cs fan, park them next to each other and i think you would see that a poll from the public would yeild faver towards cs. My nissan dealer did this very thing, and cs was the winner.

Why is cs not winning in this poll?

more people ordered cs! I thought?

I chose SS because I think it looks sharper, classier, and tougher.

As for why SS is beating CS in the poles, most people just vote and don't write.

I saw a Silverstone in person for the first time Sunday, and I liked it very much, but I'm still very happy I got CS and wouldn't change if they let me. Just last week I was reading about car colors, and Silver won hands down as the classiest color around.

I love both, but the thing that makes me want to turn my back on Silverstone is how it looks GRAY on a cloudy day. I dont know if anyone has noticed this. Also, CS sometimes looks like SS, and SS sometimes looks like CS. But that gray, ehh.
