Default Want tp trade an 03 Track Model..please give advice

Heres the issue, I just bought a 2003 Silver (dark) Track Model. It has no engine mods, but does have the stock navigation system. It is in wonderful condition and has under 17,500 miles. The thing is, it is a 6 speed. I enjoy it, its fun, but I spend too much time in traffic to mess with it.

I was wondering maybe there is someone out there with an automatic model, (maybe even a high mileage convertable) that wants a manual, track model..

My car still have plenty left on the warrenty and is the track model, I am just offering this as a question to see what everyone thinks. even if you are not interested in trading with me, please give me your feedback

I dont need navigation and i dont need another track model. i am willing to drive a base model automatic, with over 35K...

Obviously this would take alot on conversation and alot of pictures if someone was interested. Let me know (anyone) what you all think..

Swap out your tranny. LOL
It might be easier than trying to find someone that wants to trade you.

I really don't think you'd wanna go the rout of just swapping the transmission - the value of the car will go down, and well it'd be expensive. There's a lot more to it that just swapping out a simple gearbox.

I think he's talking trading car for car.

Nothing wrong with your idea if you can find someone to trade with.

Base on the typo in the title I was gonna say that it would take a lot of TP to trade for .

ive done that for the past few years, most recently I had a Hemi Ram and a V-6 stang. I really dont like using 2 cars..call me whiney, but it gets to be too much of a hassle. swiiching stuff back and forth (car chargers..ect) ..i traded both in for the Z to get away from that.

Default Be patient and sell it

That may be your only option, too include you may end up on the losing end since you haven't had it that long

Trade a base model auto with over 35k miles for a Track model navi with under 18k miles?

Thats insane am I reading this right? Why would you take such a loss?

if that was the deal, there would have to be cash involved, whatever the deal is, it would have to be fair for both parties

I'd go visit your local dealer. See what they have on the lot and tell them you want to trade for an auto. They might be able to work something out. At least where I live, most dealers are really keen on the Track models.
