I'm going to be there for sure, but i'm going to run the regular autox event on saturday. I'll be in a 95 silver camaro with 17 inch konig monsoon wheels. I'm definately going to go up to you guys and take a close look at the Z! If you don't mind, of course. Oh, btw, my name is JJ, just in case. See you guys there!

I guess two questions, can you use an open face helmet or does it have to be full face?

No a motorcycle helmet is fine. Mine is a motorcycle helmet. But if you get more serious about tracking your car, a few more serious organizations require a certified auto racing helmet.
Also open face or closed face is at your discretion. Most people have a closed face helmet, but they run with the visor up. Personally I have a closed face because I just feel its safer and I run with my visor down. I hate the glare of the sun being in my face. But it does get hot in there.

It's medium. I have a black one with a SpectraBlue visor. I personally stickered it up with Mugen Honda stickers all over.
Oh and westpak, you also may want to bring a couple of bottles of water. No vending machines out there.

That being said, the afternoon runs were a lot of fun, I am going to get another set of tires so I can do better but for the first time I think the car did very well considering it was my first time doing this type of thing. The next thing I want is to tsee if we can organize the same thing but with fewer cars so we get a longer time running. Maybe we can do an S2000/350Z autoX, start thinking about it.
