New Tread Design
My 2004.5 Touring Roadster with 18"rims came with the new tread design on the front tires.
Just wondering if anyone else got these on their new purchase or just with replacements.

Yes, the 04.5 Zs comes with a slight different tread design. It was discussed in more than one Z Forums. Some pictures were also posted. Looks like it was changed to counter the feather issue. May try a search.

Hmmm.....I am getting two new tires under warranty at the end of the week. Do you think they might be this "new" tread design? Im definately going to compare.

My 2005 has tires without separate blocks on the outside of the tread, it's all one strip around the tire...
If this means no noise, feathering, whatever, then I'm happy!
