My installer told me the engine bay is too tight to put a siren in, so my alarm is using the honk now.

i have mine one under the rear bumper and the other inside the dash. one of them is wireless i think but i'm not sure which one. hope that helps

You should pick a good spot. Be creative.

 

Your installer is an idiot. Theres plenty of room inside your Z. Mine was put behind the plenum against the firewall. Heck, I had (2) sirens put there.

What kind of alarm systems do you guys have? And how do you wire 2 sirens? Im thinking of getting one installed really soon

 

how do those alarms with the LCD keychains work?? i tihnk companys like VIPER make them.. shows ur car on a little screen on a keychain etc.

 

those are two way arlarms, and your car pages you and tells you whats happening. If your driver side door is opened it will tell you, if your trunk is opened it will tell you that as well. So you can run out there with your shotty if need be.

 

I had 4 installed, (2) inside (2) outside. You cna hook up 10, easy to do. Just tie in to each siren.

 

4??!! That must be loud as ****. I have a standard viper alarm with 1 siren installed on my GSR and thats loud enough. Also, can you program the factory remote to the alarm?

 

Yes, the factory works as well. It is loud. Sold my 03 Z and bought an 05 Roadster.
