I am obsessed with this car. I have already bought the Nismo wing, LMGT4 wheels, I am getting ready to buy the GReddy EVO II exhaust, some kind of high flow cats, and maybe headers. I don’t even own a Z yet. It is on order it will be in the states in April. I am also thinking about Nitrous, but am not sure yet, will have to do more research on it. I am on this site everyday and I can’t get enough. Everybody here is tired of me talking about my future car. Oh by the way, it is going to be 6spd ’05 touring, SS with burnt orange interior with Nav.

Haha, you're not a freak. I know of at least 2 people who had a twin turbo kit before the even had their Z. Enjoy the car bro, when you finally get it.

Definitely not.. I think its definitely natural to have your research started / done, and your plan in mind for turning the vehicle into yours..

The only downside to your approach is that you won't get the fun of fully experiencing the upgrade.. When I had my 300ZX TT, I upgraded the ECU, intake, exhaust, underdrive pulley, etc., before I really got used to the stock power.. Therefore, all I really knew was the upgraded power, so I don't know that I appreciated the upgrades as much as I could have if I was used to the cars original power..

A more recent vehicle I had was an Audi S4, and the ecu upgrade had different programs, so you could switch between the stock program / turbo boost, to more aggressive settings.. that was awesome to go from 250hp to 325+ hp and significantly increased torque at the touch of a button.

Anyway, have a blast with the Z!
