I work for T Mobile too and honestly dude, in my store that kinda stuff happens about once a month. Whenever some azzhole says something smart like that I just say "Doing my job man. Leave if you don't like it." If they stay and cause a scene, calmly call the police to escort their happy azz out. I also make it a point to remind them that their entire lame exhibition is being captured via security camera. It's UNBELIEVABLE how many people will totally neglect their $200 cell phone, letting the cat **** on it or their cousins baby take a crap in it and charge it up and the second it ceases to work they file in to my store and demand a free replacement. Nokia doesn't cover cat **** or baby ****. Amazingly its hard to convince alot of people of that.

In her defense, some of the flip phones are known to have faulty hinges and will break (literally in two) from what I've read. I can't remember which ones were prone to this, but I remember reading about various models when I recently wanted to upgrade.

I've been involved with cellular for over 7 years, and heard and seen it all...
The worst is when someone brings their phone in "to be repaired", after they've dropped it in the toilet. Out of the shirt pocket and into the water, it's done. We can smell it after we open it up, and show the customer the rust and corrosion. They still deny it!
My tech opened a phone up one time, and no joke, a dozen baby roaches came out of the thing.
Another time a guy brought in his i95 to be repaired, he told us his pig got a hold of it. That phone was done too.
Anyways, take it with a grain of salt, and hear people out.

i had a Siemens CF62 for a short while.
the screen died a week after i got it... went back, did the handset exchange program, got another phone.
and it did the same thing.
did this 5 times and i finally demanded my money back... they refused.
i told them i'd like to cancel my service at that point, and will NOT be paying the cancellation charge as they failed to meet their end of the contract to provide working equipment.
they quickly refunded my money and sold me another phone.
