Got into an accident in the beater truck i drive, durring the winter. The one thing i was thinking right after the accident was how glad i was that it wasnt in the Z. Is it spring yet ?

That sucks man - glad you're OK. This seems all to familiar to me. I was in an accident with a recycling truck about a month ago in my beater Volvo 240. Accident was 100% the recycling truck's fault. The good news is that I was in the Volvo and it spared the life of my Z. The bad news is that the Volvo is totaled and the recycling company didn't insure the truck. WTF am I supposed to do now? Thank the late J.C. that my Z is still kickin'.

 

I'm gonna install a high intensity heat beam on the front grill of my Z to melt the snow and ice AND a front mounted laser beam to slice thru any Soccer Mom Mini-Vans, Slow Driving senior citizens in big azz American Cars, and airhead blondes driving VW Jettas (God, I HATE Volkswagens...such a lame car).

Anybody know where I can buy this stuff?? LOL

kjh176... you probably have to claim it against your insurance (if you have uninsured motorist coverage), and they will go and sue the recycle company. It "shouldn't" go against your rates. Make sure you have witnesses, the other guys plates, ID, police report would be good.

 

these past two months have been terrible for my family car wise.

my eclipse got backed into on the front end- hit and run
2 weeks later i got hit in the back

my father's z got clipped in the front when merging
1 month later someone in the lane right of him tried to merge into him
and a couple months earlier the whole car had to be repainted due to an intentional scratch job, on every body panel.

mom's murano got clipped in the rear quarter.
