Default A thought on how to convey emotion better

After reading many posts where feelings were hurt, etc., it looks like many of the posts were intended as pranks, fun, and other good stuff, but were taken out of context.

We all know electronic communication is a different medium to convey emotions (even with the "j/k" and emoticons).

Maybe we can sign our posts with the emotion of how we feel writing the post.

We all do a great job conveying our feelings when it is explicitly desired, but for the implicit times... we could do this new idea. Please understand the intent... it is to convey the emotion of the "poster" for the entire post.

I know, this may be completely stupid. Please say so if it is.

Sorry mods, I realized this probably should have been in the off-topic section.

Okay, I'll stop. I am just trying to get the thought across by using examples.
