DOES THE BOSE FIX WORK!!???

I need to know, I brought the car in and was told my car doesnt meet the guidelines nissan told them to look for. however they will lie and order it anyway for us too see if it will fix it.

so question, does this fix correct the problem or not?

if not Im bout ready to start calling california and asking for the money that the stereo costs back. they can have their bose back. I will install my own new system.

 

will be getting my amp replaced soon...part is IN but waiting for a part to hopefully fix grease streak on window to get in so i can two things done at once...will let you know how it goes...

 

cool, well I should bring the car in in 2 weeks, if it fixs the problem then I cant justify pulling out a system that works as it should(for what thats worth)

keep us updated on the "grease fix" as well.

 

What dealer are you getting the fix done @? I live in OC too and want to get mine fixed... thanks

 

Don't waste your time.My Z still sounds like a AM radio.My 2001 maxima with the bose system sounded 100 times better.Now I have no bass I must set my fader all the way to 5for the rear speakers to work.After market is the way to go.NNA should give all touring models a nice rebate check for the so called upgrade.Other wise the car is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

 

i went to Tustin Nissan...the guy who helped was Brian Kenyon, nice guy. i'm going to be using their dealer for all my service, unless something happens that would change my mind...

 

I cant go complain to nissan if the radio works tho. regaurdless of how it sounds, if I get what I was sposed to, then I dont see what I can argue about.

I dont know how there could be no bass tho, I mean right now its like vibrating me out of my seat. so long as it stays at a steady amount itd be great.

 

go to a different dealer...i'll bet that every bose out there is not working probably, either the owners don't know it or don't care...look at the bulletin of the problem that' been posted, it pretty much says that if the owner thinks the bass is too much than they have to change it...

 

the dealer is being quite nice actually, if they refused to replace it because it didnt "qualify" then Id complain. but they have ordered one even tho it is not broken from their point of view. nice to see the dealer is willing to do what it takes to make me happy.

I just hope their wrong, and this does fix my problem.

 

your dealer is helping you out ares...got the call from my dealer and they got the part for the window grease problem so i'm taking her in tomorrow for the bose and grease fix...will post results soon...
