Talking Great news

Well as some of you know, I was involved in a serious car accident last Thursday. Dislocated my ankle and broke the bones under it, but after taking a catscan on tuesday, the results were in today. A small fragment of my bone from one joint fell apart and driften to another part of my foot. Luckily, that small piece will scar up and heal, and the major joint which was dislocated is back into place with no real damage done. As of today i`m walking little by little with a medical boot.

The estimate was that I wouldn`t be able to walk for 5-6 months, and may never be able to play basketball or football again. Well, thank God they were wrong, and I`m now able to drive as well [it was my left foot that was injured, and my right foot is dominant.]

So, i`m back in the situation I was in before. I`m looking to buy a Z. I`m looking into a used 04 touring or performance, silverstone or black. What`s a reasonable price for this?

Keep in mind I have a little over $5,000 saved up for mods and excessories alone.

thanks

i was in the backseat of my friend`s truck [his truck has suicide doors]. We had stopped at my gate and I was getting out to punch the code in. Some drunken maniac sped towards us, rear ended us, and I went flying out of the car.

Jezus!

I'm happy for you that you are able to walk again!

BTW What the hell is it with DUI in the US? Never hear story's like that over here... (well if you get caught with a DUI, your licence is revoked, after the second time you lose your car as well)

We need laws like that over here. I can not count the number of times I see on the news that a drunk has hit another car (almost always a young family as the odds would have it) and everyone in the car dies, and the drunk walks away wondering what happened. Those kind of laws might cut back on some of that senseless death.

It's good to hear you're ok man. Don't worry, that drunk bastard's liver will give out eventually . Anyway, about your Z question, it all depends on your choice of options and how many miles are on the Z. If you're buyin it from someone you can expect around $24,000 for a performance and around $26-27,000 for a touring. Expect about $28-30k from a dealership. Anyway, those are just rough estimates and they could be WAY off depending on options, mileage, and how the market is in texas.
Good luck with your physical therapy and finding the right Z !

With alcohol in your system, you have a smaller chance of getting hurt, think of the bums that get hit, and walk away, it has something to do with the fact that they relax their muscles more, and so they dont get any fractures.

I Know it sound weird, but i saw somethign about a guy that went skydiving, and his chute did not deploy, and he hit the ground unconcious (almost the same as being really drunk, because you will relax all the muscles in your body) and he hit the ground and only broke a leg...

So drunk drivers are alot more safe in a car accident than a sober driver... unfair isnt it?

Yeah Neo, they have taught me all of that in school, I just prefer not thinking about school when I could talk about a Z I am in a college of pharmacy, you wouldn't believe some of the things they teach us pharmacists. Yeah, it really isn't fair that a drunk is relaxed so they don't get hurt when they probably are in a situation where they sould really get hurt. That said, Sensation, i am glad you are doing ok. Good luck again with the PT and with finding a Z.

recently got my '04 Touring 6-speed with only 9K miles from a used car dealer for $26K even. This was a very good deal from what I've seen and read about elsewhere, but you should be able to stay close to that number.
