Default another oil change question....

I purchased my Z at the end of December 04 and the built date on it was 9/2004. Right now it has 1100 miles on it. I only drive it on the weekends and with all the rain here in California it has seen very little usage. Is it ok to keep driving with the motor oil from the factory even if it will take maybe 6 more months for me to reach 3000 miles?

I'd go 101 miles and drop it! That way you have fresh oil for the after breakin period party I know you are gonna throw... I'm serious.

Usually the general rule for oil changing is 3000 miles or 3 months, which ever comes first. But that is just a rule of thumb that doesn't really need to be followed. I say wait till you pass 1200 miles (break-in point) and then change the oil.
