Default OEM Z car cover- for Garage Use- good idea????

I just bought a Z OEM car cover... it was kinda an impulse buy since I got it for a good price used. My car picks up so much dust I thought this might be a good solution when the car sits in the garage... I was tired of washing the car and then coming back to the car a day later piled with dust! what do you guys think? good idea? bad?

Default Car covers are great

I cover my car every evening with a car cover. I was sick of the cat using the the windshield as a slide not to mention his filthy paws. On top of that, your right, they get dusty just sitting in the garage. Now all I need to do is whack the cat and life would be good.

I cover my Z with a car cover, but not it's not OEM so it doesn't fit very good . That's why I usually just say eff it, I don't feel like messin with the stupid thing. I should probly have bought the OEM, but oh well.

I have the OEM Cover, and only cover when I go on road trips and it stays home, however, not much dust here in Colorado, SINCE ITS STILL SNOWING, ARGH! I normally just use my California Duster.

Don't feel bad I bought a car cover too for $272.00 from California Car cover. I was good for the first 4 months and covered it in the garage, I've been bad lately (lazy) but to answer your question, its a good idea to cover it and it does keep the dust off.

Me and my Z live in Lincoln Park, Chicago. If I don't cover my Z in the garage, I get city dust on it in 10 min thanks to the nasty city air. My rule for chicago: If the z is off, the cover is on.

I only cover mine when the car is clean. Putting on/pulling off a cover with dusty/dirty surface give you scratches.
