Wow, sounds like you had a rough day. What happened? If you don't mind me asking.

My dealer can't do an alignment on 18s. I just called Courtesy and got this f**king ***** on the phone who couldn't give a **** about helping me. Totally useless. I'm trying to get someone to figure out why my front tires are cupping on the inside edge with only 5,000 F**KING MILES ON THE CAR!

Yup, I get my tires from tirerack drop-shipped there. They balance/mount my tires as well as do my wheel alignments. The owner, Steve Watkins, owns a Porsche 944 and attends HPDE's. However, be prepared to spend a half-day there and they might not be able to explain why you're getting so much [negative] camber.

Michael.

LMFAO!!! Leave it to you Brad to make me laugh after a loooong a** day at work! You know, I have to be careful in what I say, my posts are observed by a "great many". But no seriously though, I just can't understand why in the hell didn't NISSAN insist on THOROUGH TRAINING of this car by it's techs from head-to-toe or should I say roof-to-oilpan!
Oh well, I guess they wanted the dealerships and the customers to learn together.

Actually, I was looking to buy my Z shortly, and was wondering which dealers are good in DFW. I have a good history with Grubbs in the Mid-cities, and have used bankston on occasion (not overly impressed with them), and was wondering if any other Texans had any advice.

Default Bankston Nissan Is The Worst!!!!!!!!!!

1st Oil Change- 2 hours. I act a little put out, they tell me to make an appointment next time.

2nd Oil Change - I call ahead, get there when they tell me to be there, and they tell me it will be 45 min.

45 min later, I ask them the status of my car. They tell me that it hasnt even been taken inside the garage yet and its gonna be another 45 min.

After I explode, and tell them to go get my car so I can leave, they offer to SPLIT the cost of the oil change. HA!

Then they offer to give me a tank of gas. Ha!

Finally, hardly apologetic, they bring my car around and I leave.

I will NEVER buy another car from Bankston Nissan, nor will I ever bring my car there for service. They will never see a dollar of my money.

Please tell me a reputable dealership in Dallas to get my car serviced at. If there is not one, I have no problem selling my car and buying something else.

There's onlyone place i take mycars to get aligned, Dallas Frame & Alignment. These guys do everything right THE FIRST TIME! I took my last 3 cars there to get aligned and NEVER a single problem! They do alignments on everything from small CRX's to 18 wheelers to motorhomes.

As for dealerships, i've had pleasant experiences with North Texas Nissan (although its in Denton, where I bought my Z) they are awesome folks. Courtesy and Bankston in the dallas areas and lewisville are ******** period. thats exactly why they didnt get my business, the salesguys were the worst...reaaaallly sleazy. But give North Texas Nissan a shot if the drive isnt too bad for you.

How long has it taken for people to get oil changes at dealerships?

The feedback is appreciated so I can have a benchmark to apply to these dealerships that make me wait all day for an oil change.
