So, what you have is a loaded track model, WITH brembos and a new tranny for 23k. Assuming the car was recovered without damage, tell me again why this isnt a good deal.
Sorry I haven't replied sooner. I don't get here that often. Well... yes, he said $23k, but the listing is for $24K, so that's why I stated it as such. As far as why it isn't a good deal, I think many people here, including myself, have covered that question. doesn't matter what happened to the car as a result of the theft, the title is now forever branded and, as posters here have demonstrated, most buyers don't want such a vehicle, therefore it KILLS the value.

I just finished an exhausting search for the right used Z, and certainly wouldn't have proceeded without Carfax. From what I've read so far, I would never buy this car. I don't think you should either. If you're suspicious enough to ask about it in this thread, then you're suspicious enough to leave this deal alone.

I saw several Tracks available for under 25k. If you have your heart set on a Track, you can find one if you're willing to travel to the car. If you just want to keep it around 23k, I did it successfully and bought my Enthusiast for $23,300, which is $1700 less than Kelley Blue Book Retail.

When you find the car you like, complete these steps...
1. Make sure it has a clean title under Carfax.
2. Call Nissan USA and get as much information from them as you can after giving them the VIN. Cofirm with them that it's still under warranty.
3. Have your local Nissan dealer inspect the car - $100, but worth it.
