Default Anybody have any tricks to changing the oil?

I'm looking to change the oil myself at home ... though getting under the car is near impossible. Does anybody have any tricks to doing it that they can share with me? I was thinking of using 2 jacks (one for each front side) though this is not the safest method, even with bricks behind the rear wheels. Any other ideas?

One is enough. I always jack it up on the driver's side and use a jack stand. Be sure to shake the hell out of your car before you get under it to make sure it isn't going anywhere.

THESE make it easy!
Friend with an Evo has one and he changes his oil in no time flat! Nifty lil device! He's been testing it out and it works great [his car is about 3 inches from the ground - no body kit] No problems!!!

Yeah make sure your ramps arent to tall though. anything over like 5 inches is a bumper scraper. I took two pieces of wood beveled and nailed together. Its like 3.5 4 inshes but it has two levels to jump the car up slowly. Its primitive but it works. My dads Fx 35 has too wide of rims for regular ramps so this was the next best thing. I'm not sure about the ramps you all are talking about but I have the other metal ones and they were too high.

Its pretty simple really but I'm not a fan of the shroud ritual. I like the shroud but i don't like to take it off. I could modify so I don't have to do it. I was dissapointed in the dealerships shortcut of doing it all with the shroud on and spilling oil all over.
Oil and dirt is hard to clean later on.

Remover the splash shield unless you like dripping oil for days. Makes things easier.
