What were you all surprised by when you first bought the 350? I have never driven a RWD car and never driven a car with more than 220 hp, do you think I will be surprised when I get this car? (BTW im 17)
I liked the room, the shifter and stick vibration (no, I'm not gay), but I was disappointed by the acceleration, noise, and turn radius. Overall, it felt too heavy. But it was still the best for the money, and I'm glad I got it.

I won't go racing every car I see, in fact I won't go racing AT ALL . If a car pulls up in a red light, revs its engine, I'll either ignore it or look at him/her and reject the challenge. This car will be too precious to me when I get it and I just can't afford to total/crash it. I won't speed neither.
I mean what's the big deal, a lot of you are all like, man, this is a fast car, you won't be able to resist speeding, especially because you're 17.
Then I think to myself, it's not that hard, I'll just press on the accelerator lightly and go 5 mph above speed limit tops. So there.

I love everything about the 350Z. In Europe it gets just as much attention as a Ferrari. To answer your question: I was surprised in how much I enjoy the exhaust note with the top-down. It's not as aggressive/loud as my Borla (wide-open) on my old firebird but it will do nicely. I'm not a big fan of the vibration in the gear shift... wonder if a carbon fiber driveshaft would fix that?
Cheers!

I was suprised to find out that my Z had nismo suspension, sway bars and headers after I bought my car. I knew that I had the exhaust but a day or two after I bought the car I put it up on a lift and realized i had all kinds of goodies
.
.
Well i would just say that whenever you get it learn the limits of the car, and while doing so make sure to leave the TCS or the VDC on. Also about the racing and or speeding, yeah you can resit some times but you would do it anyways.
I was surprised by how many questions the 17 year old, non-license having, non-car owning punks asked me about the car
(Just playing, my friend. You've already asked me this question so I'm just giving you a hard time)
Honestly, I was surprised by how heavy the car felt. I don't know that Nissan *could* have made it any lighter, but it sure would have been nice for a car this small.
And I see you STILL haven't figured out that the age thing doesn't matter here...You just gotta keep bringin' it up....You must love the abuse.

I was surprised by the unreliability of it! Surprised by the ungodly amount of oil it burns. Surprised by me having to have the tranny replaced. Surprised about about having the rear outer axel joints replaced and some bearings. All within 12, 434 miles on it. Pffft.
