Default Redesign of the Next Z...

If you could participate in redesigning the the next Z (circa 2008), what would you like to see in terms of styling?

Better Paint
The interior could be better
Better carpet on the mats
The power locks to be better defined on the button. Like the little open lock vs the closed lock as found on GM stuff.
Sturdier dash cupholder
Better Paint
Better Paint
Better Paint
The ability to choose the gauge colors. Something like on the new mustangs would be cool.

master, the gauge color thing is actually do-able. A guy made that on his own and got Ford to pay him for them to use it.

definatly more dress up features,
ie gauges,
interior colour choice maybe
more seat material choice / colour,
door inserts, suede/ leather coloured ,
oh not that crappy matieral used for the door trims, that studded pattern, is a nightmare
sound proofing would be nice

that would make me happy

1. Uniform interior materials IE door panels + Dashboard
2. Rattle free dash + mirror
3. Adjustable camber - lowering friendly
4. FI option from factory

I would say they should provide more options for the interior (i.e. material, two-tone, cf dash, etc...). They should also redesign the headlights to look like the blacked-out JGTC lights with to 2 true projectors side-by-side (like bmw lights). I would then have the taillights be LED so it will look similar to how the G's have it.

There you go, variety is the spice of life! I want a uniform material for the dash, he wants two-tone.

does anyone think that the idiots that actually have the pleasure of designing these wonderfull things actually do there reasearch and find out what the potential owners would like to see, i mean no one knows these cars like the people that have spent a good part of there day driving it

as bubble said, they should do these things so we dont have to waste our time and money doing them cause they should be available

different door design - flip up lambo/delorean type doors would make things interesting.

I agree with Zman. Lets throw some boost in the mix and give it a cast iron block to handle all the abuse! How about weight. This cars a PIG! My brothers STI is lighter with two more doors, cast iron motor block, and AWD. Why is this thing so heavy?

My input....

1.) Quality Paints....
2.) LEDs for rear lights..../Continued advanced lighting for the fronts.
3.) F/I option to keep pace with HP wars..
4.) Drilled and/or Slotted rotors as an option..
5.) Focus on racing inspired engineering upgrades....
6.) Whatever MINOR design changes the Nissan design team feels necesary
to keep the concept fresh....
