Default Bridgestone Potenza 245/45/18 re040...

These tires are not run flat tires, correct? I'm getting told 280.00 beans a tire !
They are saying thses are the runflats. So they are more expensive. I am pretty darn sure they are not. But thats why i posted this incase I am wrong

There is a run-flat version of the RE040. On Tirerack's site they list at $265, the other versions are in the $220 range.

Don't buy Potenza's!!!

Get some Michelin Pilot Sport PS2s. Your car will thank you.

If you don't believe us, check out the reviews on TireRack's web site (which a few of us have contributed to). Check out how many of the bad reviews begin with, "these came stock on my car. . . ", and how many people replaced them with the same tire. Like nobody.

The make of car doesn't seem to matter - RE40's suck.

I would tend to agree. If you like the Bridgestone name, you might look at the S-03's. I have a set on my 19's, and so far I really like 'em.
