window spots, anyone else noticed this?
So I have been searching around for this and not found anything.
In certain sunlight at certain angles I can see uniform spots on my windows and rear hatch glass. The spots are just slightly darker than the glass. Another weird thing about it is that you can't see them at all from the inside of the car no matter what angle you look.
I know people have had problems with grease streaks on their windows but this is definitely not that, these are uniformly placed spots.
So the question is has anyone else seen this? Is it a problem?
I am about to tint my Z so I am wondering if I should try to get this fixed first.

yep. I've had mine since Jan. Now that the sun comes out during the day and I park in the same spot when I look out the window at work my passenger side window has a checker board pattern to it. I guess who cares as long as it doesn't look that way from inside.

Thanks for the responses! Glad to know I am not alone.
I don't think it's that big of a deal, I will go ahead and get my car tinted. The tint may even get rid of the problem since it will be darker than the spots.
I am getting formula one pinnacle 35 in case anyone is curious.

I noticed the same spots on the hatch window. No big deal though as I was able to wash them off from the inside. In other words, clean the windows inside and out. If this is not the case then I have no idea why yours is different then what I had.

Do you ware sunglasses/perscription glasses? The polorization of eyeglasses and sunglasses will dot windows due to the contrasting polorization in the tint/glass.

Tempered Glass Definition (Scroll Down)
I assume we have tempered glass, here is the relevant info from the definition:
"Spots or blotches may, at times, be visible on tempered glass, especially when viewed through polarizing lenses or in certain types of reflected light. The intensity will vary with lighting conditions and viewing angle. This is caused by the strain pattern induced during the cooling stage, and is not inherently a cause for rejection."
Thanks again for all the responses! Glad to have an answer.

Mine looks like a thick net when the light hits it right. Looks kinda cool actually...
I dunno if it's the streaking people are talking about, but it doesnt bother me at all.

This post is funny to me because i just had an argument with my g/f about this the other day. I'm driving and I notice the spots and they are very pronounced, I never saw them before. I ask my girlfriend if she ever saw them before and she looks at me like I'm nuts. I tell her to look at the windows there are spots all over them and she gets a concerned look on her face and asks, "what's wrong with you?" So now I'm pointing at them and yelling, "these spots all over here." She is telling me there are no spots and I'm seeing things. I lift my sunglasses up to rub my eyes and, voila! The spots are gone. I then realized it was from my polarized lens in my sunglasses. We had a few good laughs about it.
