I'm glad you challenge the Old Priest Grade Road (at least the road sing says), the newer Priest Grade Road would also be fun, a little more speed is possible. Did you stop the Fish Hatchery and feed the fishies? I have a place in Oakdale and go up those roads often. You may want to head up 49 out of Sonora and check out some of the drives thru Murphy's, Volcano and Sutter Creek, nice and twisty in parts, especially when you get off of 49 on the side roads. In fact, I was just up there last weekend, went all thru the area, clear up to Jackson. However, on weekends the CHP and local cops love to make revenues on 49. Weekdays you can drive up there and not even see a cop.
