I've searched through the forums and can't find a reference to tell which models have which build dates. Does anyone have the cutoffs for the 2004.5s? I'm looking at buying a 2004, but would much prefer to get an 04.5 to try to be on the safer side of the feathering issue (if there is one!)

 

I think it was in the tire feathering sticky, not sure though because its hard to search for it.

 

Yeah, I looked through as many of the 170something pages of that as I could at work, and searched for "suspension" and "2004.5" in the forum search and got no hard dates.

Ummm...I could guess but I'd probably be wrong. My build date is 7/04 and I have had no problems.
