This is 4/20 not 4/01, you have to be kidding. Well im not the best person to ask, but if it was me I would not drive it, ATT ALL. If I had AAA, I think I would get it towed. Just makes sure you watch out for your front bumper, I think maybe get a piece of wood and put it under the front tires before towing it. If it was my car I would get it towed, drain it or if you are good enough do it yourself. Whatever you do goodluck!

I once changed my oil and forgot to put the drain plug back in, and wasted 5 quarts.

I also once tried to change the spark plugs and pulled out the distributor cap wires.

I was 15 at the time,

I have done this on purpose before with AT fluid. The detergent in the tranny fluid will clean the build up inside the engine. I still have the vehicle that I did this in........255,352 miles and still running strong. I have only done this a couple of times to my Mitsu. Also I only drove it around for 15 to 30 minutes and changed the oil.

I did it by mistake once as the tranny bottle looked like the oil bottle but once I saw the color of the fluid coming out I said ****!!!!

It is OK to leave it in if you have to drive it somewhere but I would drain it as soon as possible, as mentioned the tranny fluid has detergents that will not be good in the engine over a long time.

Yep, I agree with the above. My dad used to be a certified mechanic and did this sometimes.

My father is a mechanic and I used to help out when I was young with the oil changes. You put the oil from a drum into a bucket with a spout. Well the first day I did maybe 5 cars and I didn't realize the bucket was 2 quarts not 1 so everyone was overfilled. We had to lift all the cars back up and dump all the extra out.

I would say everything depends on what kind of trannsmission fluid you put in. Most manual transmission fluid is just a 10w30 weight with special additives which will be fine in your engine.

Its fine. Before an oil change sometime I will pour in a quart of tranny fluid and run the engine for 10 minutes to help clean it out. Just drain it like normal after that and change the filter and you will be good to go. Now that there are easily avbailable engine cleaner products I don't do this much anymor
